More on this season

Hello all!

Well, I could not feel more like I am in the right place at the right time.  Doors are opening for Radiant, and I am personally gaining so much from this intensive season of seeking God through prayer, fasting and studying the Word of God.

Not only am I worshiping and receiving strength and peace for the present; I feel like I am just beginning to gain understanding of the Word and the times we are living in that will fuel my life, love and ministry in the coming seasons and years.  I know that what God has called me to requires me to know Him intimately, to consistently drink from His rivers, and to be rooted and grounded in the Word of God.  That is what I am learning here.  And I am so grateful for it.

Day to Day . . .
As for my days, right now they consist of seeking the Lord in the house of prayer in the mornings, and then spending 2-4 hours in Radiant's office, tending to finances, records and various administrative projects.  I am also able to spend time working on writing songs, and recording them.  (Consider this an informal secret announcement that there may be a Hannah EP coming this year with some original songs...  Sssh, don't tell!)

God likes Youths!
It looks like Radiant is going to have the opportunity to be involved with the IHOP youth group, leading worship occasionally.  It is still in the works, but I am incredibly excited about the possibility.  I have attended two youth services since I've been here (I plan on attending every week to support the leadership and help serve and pray for the kids) and both times felt like it was exactly where I wanted to be.  There's something about youth - I think God likes 'em.  :-)

I can't help but be able to envision revival among the young people and in the high schools:  kids lit up with the brightness of God, invading their schools with conquering joy and love . . . praying for the sick and seeing them healed . . . lost kids coming into the youth group and experiencing the presence of God.  If we get the opportunity to contend for that here in Kansas City, I am so all over it.  :)  Kansas City is a "hub" of sorts; a place where movements and ministries are birthed and then sent to the nations.  If we can get a youth revival here . . . it would just be great.

Well, that's it for now.  If you guys want to leave me comments, it will help me feel like I'm actually talking to someone on here.  :-)

Blessings!
