it was the first major campaign to be fought entirely by air forces. The German Air Force had many more planes and pilots than did the Royal Air Force, and yet they failed to accomplish their goal. Germany's failure in this campaign was considered its first major defeat and one of the main turning points of World War 2. Who was it that held the highly trained and numerous Luftwaffe in check and maintained Britain's air supremacy? It was the Royal Air Force, a company small in number and inefficiently trained. What secured their victory? Among other things, radar intelligence (a new development that Germany had not yet integrated) and a willingness to die for their cause. Many of them lost their lives, and it was of these men that Winston Churchill proclaimed "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few."

In St Louis for the past three weeks, a small company of young intercessors met and covenanted together to lay down their lives for their country. They had received a word that they were like the RAF - that there was a battle in the air (the spiritual realm) over America, and though the enemy was great, the battle could be won. The keys to the battle would be intelligence (getting revelation from heaven about what God wanted to do and how He wanted to do it) and a willingness to lay down their lives to see God's will done. These keys, mixed with humility, worship, purity and obedience would ensure victory.

This company entered into 21 days of seeking God with fasting, worship and praise, receiving many dreams that gave them specific prayer direction, and seeing answers to prayer take place following their prayers. One such testimony was the day they received direction to pray that the many "adult" businesses on I-70 between Kansas City and St Louis would be shut down. The following day the governor of Missouri signed a bill severely limiting these establishments. Seeing the answer to a prayer in the next day's news gave them faith to pray all the prayers the Lord gave them, though they may not see immediate visible results. The primary focus of most of this company's prayers was to see 100,000 salvations and healings in the homosexual community. The word of the Lord was that these testimonies would be instrumental in turning America back to righteousness before it's too late. The fruit of most of those prayers is yet to be seen, but I believe they will be seen in America.

Radiant was privileged to serve that small band of people by leading prayer and worship sets. It was an honor to work and pray along side of those who would give their lives to see many in bondage set free. Lord, remember the prayers and sacrifices of your saints; let the Lamb receive the reward of His sufferings in America. Send revival, send salvation, bring healing, for Your Name's sake.

It has been said that "history belongs to the intercessors." America is in a desperate time; when one takes in the way wickedness is abounding, even to the point of the legalization of the murder of unborn babies and the forced acceptance of all kinds of sin, it seems like certain defeat. But could it be that the tide could be turned by a few who are radically obedient to God? Just a few who will fast and pray, dream dreams from heaven, and pray the promises of God until angels are released, demonic strongholds shake and crash to the ground, and millions are set free from sin. I want to be one of these few. How about you?

Dare to believe it. Your prayers can move mountains!

Belated Updated

Despite the spurts of motivation I experience to keep my blog current, the reality remains that I am just intimidated by the thought of boiling my life and thougths down into a few good points and fashioning them into paragraphs, so I end up procrastinating the task. After an extended time of high praise and worship, which ended with spontaneous singing and dancing and rejoicing before the Lord in joy and freedom, Richy gave a specific altar call for those needing to give their lives to the Lord. About 10 people responded to come into right relationship with God. Praise Jesus! Angels are rejoicing!

After this, we invited trEd Prophetic Dance to come and do a piece on spiritual warfare and the overcoming Church. The weight of the Presence of the Lord came into the room and as the Radiant team then came forward to prophesy and minister to individuals. There was a release of joy (the wine of the Spirit) and fire before we did any individual ministry at all. Then we prayed for healing for those who had back pain and several people went away with no pain. Then we prophesied and prayed for nearly the whole room, including all who needed physical healing.

The service went til 11:30, and it was all just great quality ministry. Thanks Lord!

See where else we're going to be this week below. class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'trebuchet ms';">Recently I was talking to a friend and she began to share her brother's story with me. Her brother was a believer who had struggled with homosexuality for a number of years. He fought with it but was unable to find deliverance in the church, in freedom programs and counseling, even in fasting. He became discouraged and is now living the lifestyle fully.

The story broke my heart. That a man who is searching for deliverance in the church and from the Lord with fasting would not be able to get free. That the spirit of homosexuality would be able to cling to a man who wants freedom. I wondered if a group of believers had joined with him in fasting and prayer, demonic influence would have been held at bay long enough for him to be fully delivered and established in freedom. It has launched me into a time of intensified prayer for those bound in this specific sin, which I have seen to be so controlling, but which I know must bow to the name and the authority of Jesus.

Paul was confident of his salvation and deliverance from prison based on two things: the prayers of the saints and the provision of the Spirit of Christ. I am encouraged to believe that my prayers release a fuller measure of the provision of the Spirit to aid struggling men and women to freedom from their emotional and spiritual prisons.

How many souls can be saved if we, the Church, take up the cause of our struggling brothers and sisters, and through prayer and fasting hold back demons and release provision? Let's try it and see! : )

Perseverance

Today I mowed the lawn. Now, I am a person of relatively small stature and build. Pushing a 50-70lb pile of metal on tiny wheels up and down hills and over rocks and around stumps in the sun represents a bit of a challenge for me, but for some reason I cannot bring myself to abdicate the responsibility. Maybe it's that I'm unwilling to be defeated... or maybe somebody along the way taught me that if don't give up when you do hard things now, you'll be able to do harder things later.

When you persevere, you gain victory in each moment by setting your face like flint and not quitting. Before you know it, you look back and see you've conquered a whole hill. And you're energized to go after the one ahead, which just happens to be a little steeper. : ) In the end, the righteous Judge "will render to each person according to his deeds: to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life." Some will be covers, some will be never-before-heard originals. But they will all be a more accurate representation of what Radiant is currently doing than what we have released up to this point.

There is a group of intercessors up in Boston right now, praying and fasting for 40 days for a revival in New England that would sweep across the rest of the USA. They're targeting college campuses, specifically the Ivy League Universities, with prayer and prophetic evangelism. They're contending for another Great Awakening to break out, like those of the past and greater.

Though we cannot be there on site, an intercessor friend of ours had a dream that suggested our involvement. In the dream, some members of Radiant were looking out across the Charles River in Boston. Through a series of other dreams, we began to wonder if this might be a reference to Charles Wesley, who wrote a multitude of hymns that were sung during the Great Awakening.

And we had a thought: what if our part to play this time is in writing the songs of a Great Awakening?

Lord, be with us as we write and arrange these songs this weekend. Anoint us with Your power and Your Spirit. Let this project be a part of the release of a Great Awakening in the nation. Anoint the songs with delivering and healing power. Let us hear the sounds of heaven and communicate them on earth. It goes by the name of Self. Self has somehow remained nearly undetected in spite of the fact that it is determined to exercise absolute authority over my life. Most of the times that I have felt the most selfless and charitable have been when Self is satisfied. Self doesn't mind me doing things for other people as long as It is taken care of first. The trouble occurs when Self is not satisfied. When Self is not satisfied, it rears its ugly head, and all of a sudden I am no longer seeking to meet other people's needs. Self steps up, pulls in the reins and demands that I satisfy its desires. And the killer thing is, I often obey.

I'm currently reading Rees Howells, Intercessor and haven't been able to get past Chapter 5: "The Holy Spirit Takes Possession." At this point in Rees' life he had been a believer for a few years, and the Lord was coming to collect what Rees had promised him: his life. For the first time, Rees had an encounter with the Holy Spirit, who explained to him:

"I am God, and I am come to ask you to give your body to Me that I may work through it. I need a body for My temple, but it must belong to Me without reserve, for two persons with different wills can never live in the same body. Will you give Me yours?" And then He said "But if I come in, I come as God, and you must go out. I shall not mix Myself with your self."

The question Rees came to after struggling with giving up the areas of Self that the Lord highlighted was "How can self be willing to give up self?" The Holy Spirit had a good answer: "Are you willling for Me to make you willing?" It was enough. Rees was willing. As soon as Rees made the decision to give up Self completely, the Holy Spirit came in to possess him completely, and he became a new man.

I want Self to be completely eradicated from my heart, motivations and life. It will take the work of the Holy Spirit to show me where Self is currently ruling, and it will take His help to be willing to lose my Self-will entirely. But I am willing to be made willing.

TheCall Crisis - Houston TX

Something astounding happened in Houston this month. Ten thousand gathered on a Sunday night at an event that was planned in literally weeks, to pray for the ending of abortion and injustice. The following morning, Martin Luther King Day, as many as 14,000 rallied to pray and protest the presence of what will be the largest abortion clinic in the western hemisphere when it opens later this year. Again, this rally was planned in about 20 days. How did an organization such as The Call mobilize that many people in that short amount of time?

My favorite number is the final count of people standing in Silent Siege around the new clinic. 4,200. Four thousand two hundred bodies, standing as a wall, praying and contending against the raising up of this monstrosity. Four thousand two hundred people, in unity with the heart of God, equipped with the power of the Holy Spirit, backed my myriads of angels. Four thousand two hundred people who needed no instruction, no motivation, no inspiration. Four thousand two hundred who came, stuck a piece of LIFE tape over their mouths, and took their place on the wall, some of them not budging for 6 hours as they prayed silently for destinies, LIFE and the ending of abortion in Houston.

As I stood before that building, one in a line of 4,200, I was imagining the battle going on in the spirit. Sure, the spirit of death is huge and scary, and he has a lot of control and power. But if one person, with God, can put a thousand of the enemy to flight, and two can put ten thousand to flight...

What can 4,200 do?

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Radiant's job this month was to book and complete a tour (in two weeks, mind you) to mobilize for TheCall Crisis. We headed to Texas on January 1 and poured ourselves out to see this event succeed. We were so blessed to see the outcome of the event. However, we as a team did suffer some losses. Besides those of sleep and health :), nearly all of Radiant's stage gear was stolen from the back of our drummer's Tahoe. What's the deal?" Well, I'll tell ya. Richy helped me get the basic structure of 5 of my original songs recorded, mixed and ready for listening, and we put all of these on a CD. I still wanted to do some work on the arrangements, as well as record a few more tracks, before I release it as a final product, but I also wanted to make something available in the meantime, so I titled the release the "Show Me Your Face - PreRelease EP" and began to sell it. So, in short, it's not what it will be, but what it is is available for your listening and worshiping pleasure.

I've made one track (called "Satisfaction") available for free download as a Happy Christmas present. I was struck by Sarah, who received a reward of faith because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Moses was counted as faithful because He caught a glimpse of the covenant and plans of God for the nation of Israel, and counted the things dear to God's heart as more valuable than all of the treasures in Egypt. Noah chose to believe the seemingly ridiculous predictions and instructions given to him by God, enough to devote a large portion of his life to following them, and because of it his whole family (not to mention the human race) was saved in the flood.

All the patriarchs acted on a reality that they couldn't see with their eyes. We are choosing to put duties and cares of the seen realm on the back burner, and seek after what is hidden. We are deliberately rejecting the things that constantly vie for our attention and affection in order to experience the reality of an unseen realm. We are testifying that this world is not our home, but that we are looking for a different home... a city whose Builder and Maker is God. We are transferring our hope from what is seen to what is not.

This is faith. It may be that I'm a nerd and stepping into a classroom full of learning materials actually excites me; or it may be that seeing a sea of young people, each carrying such potential, opens my eyes and allows me to dream of what God might have in store for the campuses of America.

I saw a glimpse of revival in my own high school; kids burning brightly with the love of Christ and affecting everyone they came into contact with; and many lost being saved and set free. May we see the power and light of the Gospel going forth across the campuses of America.

Today half of Radiant (in the midst of our 3-week West Coast tour... w00t!) stepped onto a local high school campus in Madera, CA to meet with the Christian club there to encourage them and spread the word about the show tonight. It was so refreshing to be there, somehow, in their world. Many times, with our touring schedule, we blow in and out of a city/youth group in one evening, so it's easy to loose sight of the reality that the kids we minister to live in. We were able to speak a word of encouragement to them about responding rightly to trials and difficulties; and then pray for them. It was a sweet time. The meeting tonight was a full house, with kids from several different youth groups in the city and surrounding areas. It was so good to watch them encounter and behold the Lord in worship and then repent of sins and be washed by the blood of Jesus. May they be burning and shining lamps in their schools, spreading the hope of Christ to their friends.

Tomorrow - a VERY long drive to Utah to stay for a few days, and then we hit the ground running for our next run of ministry which will take us back to the great state of Texas.

Amen!

October 2009 Newsletter

Hello all! Pray for clarity of hearing, and courage to walk out what he hears.

Attended a VAT (Values Action Team) meeting, led by Brownback, in which Pro-Life and Family Values Representatives and Organizations convene to discuss strategies, network and encourage one another. VERY fascinating and informative opportunity for us, to see the policies and action strategies that we pray for being discussed and fleshed out.

So, fairly eventful for our first day. Will try to blog some prayer coverage points for you tomorrow, for those who would like to be praying for us and the nation.

Much love!

Awakening Teen Camp + Pix Link

Well, Awakening Teen Camp was a blast. I was so blessed to serve at about 10 of the sessions on stage as a musician and/or singer. I believe that part of the reason I and the Clarks are in Kansas City is to labor in prayer and service for the mighty youth revival we have been dreaming about. The ministry of the Holy Spirit that we saw this summer among the teenagers has been enough to bring tears to my eyes; I saw Him move corporately and touch individuals with the power of His love that is powerful enough to set them free from sin, depression and rage; and I saw Him seal kids' hearts with His love, and call them to live set apart lives and change the world. It is so incredible to be in the will of the Lord; there's nowhere I'd rather be.

When the whole team was here, we had the privilege of being photographed during a live set by the amazing Shelley Paulson. Please check out the photos here! I think I've actually been in the same state all month, so that's an accomplishment in and of itself. I've gotten to spend lots of time in the office getting our records caught up and trying to improve systems. So that's always good.

Techno-80s explosion + Conga Line: just another night in the life at IHOP... wait, what?

OK, I was working on getting some photos or something of Awakening Teen Camp and Fascinate 09. Even tried to edit some Andrew-cam, but in the end I realized that it will be better to wait. I know, I am sorry. There will be some seriously awesome video clips and pics at some point.

Leading worship for the youth camps has been so great. Richy and Daniel and I have been working with a team up here, leading several times for the camp and for the Fascinate High School Conference. Seeing young people encounter the Lord is just absolutely the best, and He has been faithful to meet with them at every service.

When our other two Radiants (Nate and Matt) came up these last couple days, it was just over the top. I think that ATC exploded all over the FSM building last night. There were beautiful times of repentance, intimacy and worship, but I gotta say my favorite was the altar call at the end. After 45 minutes or so of ministry and prayer, we decided to end with some praise. Now, high explosive praise demands high explosive music, correct? So a techno-80's groove during "O clap your hands all you people" and some nice ska/punk/Supertones rhythms for "Your Name is Holy" wouldn't be totally out of place, would they?

And neither would a 300 person conga line and an encore...

Right?

Awakening!

Hello all! It's been a while since I've updated.

PLEASE NOTE: New address for support and correspondence! Beginning July 2, we will be receiving mail at 3905 E 107th Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64137

*

It's been a great couple of weeks. Last weekend I drove down to Texas to dance with trEd at a women's conference in Houston. A 12 hour drive, alone, is not something I get excited about, especially when I have to make the return drive a mere 3 days later. But as I was sitting there at that conference, I thought to myself: "How could I ever complain? Who gets to live a life like this?" I remember coming down from the stage after singing an original song (which Adrian so gorgeously interpreted with dance) and seeing a woman in the very back just leaning back with her eyes closed, soaking in the love of God. If people are having encounters with God through my little offerings, it is all worth it.

*

Then last night I was able to help lead worship at IHOP's Awakening Teen Camp with our JPR worship team, which includes "RAD" (Richy, me and Daniel) and some other very cool dudes we've picked up around here. Man, there was such a spirit of revival and praise and deliverance in that room last night. These kids want to worship! They want to encounter God! During "You Are Holy" we really felt the release of the presence of God and angelic activity, and then we took it up into high praise with "Our God Reigns." All those kids singing "He reigns!!!!" over and over again - that was definitely a highlight of worship.

Then Corey Russell spoke, and that is always intense. Altar ministry was amazing. Kids getting delivered from sins and stuff, especially dealing with sexual immorality. I remember one kid right in front of me, shouting (almost screaming) "I close the doors! I close the doors! I close the doors!" Seriously, those kids are changed.

It felt so effective. We may be leading at the Fascinate conference in July, which is a OneThing-like event they do annually. Stay tuned.

*

A BIG THANK YOU! to all who gave this month. My bills were actually all covered by mid-month, with some left over for groceries and gas! Great job, team! :)

Many blessings!

~han~

Back in KC

It's been a great run this last few weeks. Thank you to all who were able to help with and attend trEd's first fundraising event. A great time was had by all, and we are so much closer to our financial goals for the ministry trips coming up this year, including a likely trip to England and Wales. We also had a great time in Little Rock, Arkansas this weekend. Ministered again with Keith and Sannah Luker, and it was a beautiful time.

And I, here I am back in Kansas City after 6 weeks of Texas and the East Coast. I think it will take me a few days to readjust to being here, but then I will settle in and start running. I'll be helping out in the JPR, helping lead worship for IHOP's Awakening Teen Camps, and be buckling down in the Radiant office (aka: the basement) with all of our expenses and receipts, creating systems and getting all the craziness under control.

That's it. Just a quick little update of where I am and what I'm doing. Love you guys.

George Tiller

After all my writing about our prayers during George Tiller's trial, I decided to post this as a blog. Today has been the chillest day ever, compared to how we've been running for the last 2 1/2 weeks. Nothing but driving today, and nothing but home awaits. A bit more space in the van, since the KC half of the team parted ways in Nashville. That's been nice. No offense, Jess.

This was a great trip. The team was daily praying apostolic prayers (the ones Paul prayed over his churches) over the Body of Christ during our drives. Prayers like Eph 1:17 - that they would receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God, Eph 3:19 - that they would know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, Col 1:9-10 - that they would be filled with the knowledge of His will and be fruitful, etc.

As I prayed these Scriptures, I felt myself becoming more aware of God's heart for the people we were ministering to. These Scripture prayers gave us more direction and purpose than I feel we have yet had in our touring. Personally, it helped me to see past my own individual desires and needs to the needs of the Church and the desires of the Lord for His bride.

There was a great response at each of the 12 ministry locations. So much repentance, and then afterward so much refreshing and encouragement. The entire team participated in giving encouraging prophetic words, words of knowledge and ministering physical healing. Several reported healings, accurate words, encouraged hearts. Such an honor to participate in the Lord having His Bride, and having her more fully, until she shines like Him.

Here is a clip of altar ministry at Freedom Fellowship in April.
<embed src="http://www.youtube.com/get_player" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"width="320" height="266" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"flashvars="flvurl=http://v11.nonxt8.googlevideo.com/videoplayback?id%3Dde86b19a25bc3c7e%26itag%3D5%26app%3Dblogger%26ip%3D0.0.0.0%26ipbits%3D0%26expire%3D1331364135%26sparams%3Did,itag,ip,ipbits,expire%26signature%3D38D6F0C5A9F314EA1497CD4FE7A4DDE2D86FC608.CBB93FB43D9451052F6CAF83BECBD55DE250701%26key%3Dck1&iurl=http://video.google.com/ThumbnailServer2?app%3Dblogger%26contentid%3Dde86b19a25bc3c7e%26offsetms%3D5000%26itag%3Dw160%26sigh%3DQz6lBbOmLJRD9UZk3nTHjulj0DA&autoplay=0&ps=blogger"allowFullScreen="true" />

Day 11, I think: Hamden, CT

Today we are shooting over to Hamden, CT to play at Frontline Church. We have awesome history (dating back to 2003) at Frontline, a church of mostly young people who are hungry for the Lord and love to worship. It’s going to be great.

Last night we were with some old friends (our history with them dates back farther, to 1999) in Feeding Hills, Massachusetts at a church called Lighthouse. It was really great. The ministry was pretty energetic and direct, due to the fact that we were more rested than we have yet been on this trip, and due also to the Mountain Dew Richy consumed pre-service. And the people were very receptive; the whole room basically responded to the Lord at the altar call, and we prayed for healing and ministered prophetically.

We’re on the last run of the tour, and all feeling pretty good. We had a day off Saturday, and have had short drives Sunday and today, so it’s been so nice to have a more relaxed schedule. Definitely needed it.

Day 7ish: Virginia Beach

I blog from the van, thanks to Matthew Traylor's Sprint card. Hollah.

We are on our way from Aiken, SC to Virginia Beach, VA. We’ve had ministry every night and not a whole lot of sleep, so the whole team is tired, but there’s grace. Tonight we have ministry in Virginia, tomorrow we’ll be in D.C. (or is it Massachusetts? Somebody get me a schedule), and then Saturday is just a drive day (which translates as a more restful day, hopefully).

I enjoy the long drive days. Even though we have to wake up earlier and get less sleep. For one thing, I don’t drive so I normally get to nap while we’re driving. But besides that, it gives me lots of time to quiet my soul before God, and get to the place where I can hear His voice and feel His desires for the meeting. It’s unfortunate that it takes me so much time to get to that place. The goal is to be always in that place. But it is helpful to be able to soak in the Word for a few hours as we drive.

We have a team reading plan for our drives. We’re all reading through John and Acts in these weeks on the road. Today, John 8 and Acts 12. (Somehow got a light reading day on a heavy drive day… I’ll probably read ahead.)

Day 3,4,5

Well my plan to blog every day did not work out, so I'll have to settle for a little update every few days.

We had a great time of ministry in Nashville Friday night, then drove to Anniston, AL to minister Saturday night and Sunday morning. We got lots of good response from the people; they expressed appreciation of the fact that we were not there to entertain them but to actually lead them into worship to God. We took some time at the end to minister to people who were grieving events in the past, and the Holy Spirit was sweet to come and comfort and begin healing them. We also gave a repentance/restoration call, which several responded to.

We are now in Bradenton, FL. The plan is to hit the beach this morning before we head over to the church. Woot!

Drive thoughts
(Husbands, love your wives, just as) Christ also loved the Church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious Church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. Eph 5:25-27

Christ is longing to be united with His bride. His heart is stirred with longing for her to be sanctified and washed and reconciled to Him.

It puts touring in perspective. As I’m going to all these different churches sometimes I forget the reason behind what we’re doing. But what a privilege – to be a minister of reconciliation between Christ and His bride. Totally worth the inconveniences and discomforts of travel.
Day 2: Tour Orientation

This morning I awoke, ran a couple miles at the park, ate a very interesting breakfast of rice, eggs and cheese, and headed over to "The Foundry" to lead worship (just me and my piano) for about 12 young adults who are doing an internship at the Thunder School here in Nashville.

It was being put on a stage first thing in the morning, before tour has actually "begun," that sobered me up last night. Realizing I had wasted a lot of my van time yesterday. But God has been so gracious to me in that He's been doing a deep work of love and consecration in my heart. So I was able to pull from what He has been doing in me in order to minister to the kids here. And He was sweet to meet with us this morning and encourage the kids with His presence.

Elsewhat today, we had our tour orientation meeting with the whole team, establishing rules and protocol and all things useful for maintaining a spirit of unity and accomplishing all God has ordained.

And now, we're practicing can get away with living pretty much for myself, sad to say. I mean, there's give and take, and I get to navigate relationships, but for the most part, no one's depending on me to be spiritually overflowing. I can live life and get by with the little revelation that I glean from day to day as I'm going my way.

But on the road, as things begin to get uncomfortable, I realize why I'm here. Why I'm spending 12 hours days in a 15 passenger van, and then being thrown into social situations that are out of my comfort zone. Why I'm eating fast food and gas station food and no food at all. Why I'm living for weeks at a time out of a suitcase. It's for the people God loves.

And all the sudden everything comes into perspective. And now my time in the van becomes a time of preparation, where I am clearing my spirit and moving in closer to the Lord, rather than a time where I'm just looking for something to keep me busy so the hours pass more quickly.

My time is not my own. God, teach me this lesson of love. How to lovingly use the precious resource of time, and not squander it.

TrEd in LA (Louisiana...)

Well, the combination of location (Texas) and trEd (dancing, in an a/c-less studio) has left me a few pounds lighter, but don't worry, I will get it back as I drink water. All the blood, sweat and tears (well, minus the blood and tears, for now) is definitely going to be worth it.

We've been gearing up for ministry in Lafayette, LA, and we think it's gonna be awesome. We'll be doing both spontaneous dance and choreographed pieces on Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night. Then we'll drive back home very late Sunday night. Please keep us in your prayers as we go out.

A couple days at home to recover, and I'll be off again on a Radiant East USA Tour 2009! Woohoo!

My goal before leaving for tour: Finish getting all Radiant's finances in order from 2008 and then create systems for this year. It's been a great project for me, researching and learning how to file taxes for a 501(c)3 and how to keep proper records. I'm excited about us getting our Radiant "house" in order financially; I feel like the Lord will be able to entrust us with open doors and greater opportunities for ministry if we are faithful and excellent in stewarding what He has already given us.

On the Hannah EP: Sad to say, though we had played with the idea of having it ready by this month's tour, Richy and I decided to wait until after the tour to get it done. We wanted to wait til we had time and money to do it excellently. So stay tuned for updates on that!

Much love to ya all!

Hannah

Texas, Driving, Missouri, and What's Next

Tuesday the 7th:

Well, we did it. We finished up our Texas ministry and drove back to Missouri yesterday, stopping only a few hundred times to change dirty diapers or buy beef jerky. Made it back around . . . eh, 1:30am? Woke up a few hours later to lead our intercession set in the JPR this morning.

I now feel quite energetic as I have not crashed from caffeine and exhaustion yet. Mmmm, I'm gonna sleep good tonight. :)

Texas

So our little Texas circuit was such a blessing, even more so than we expected. We got so many testimonies of lives changed and hearts blessed, and we Radiants were blessed and encouraged to be doing ministry together as a team. And we were blessed by the love and support we felt from the churches we ministered at. We appreciate you!

I would love to post pictures on here of each event, but alas I have none. If anyone would like to donate a digital camera to the cause, I will put oh so many pictures on following blogs.

Driving

Fairly uneventful, if you don't count all the stops. I did drink coffee at 11pm, and still fell asleep when I got home. Somebody put that on the record. I must have been tired!

Missouri

Settling back here in Kansas City, where I will be busily working on practicing and playing with our JPR team, praying with our JHOP friends (the ones we went to Wichita with), finishing 2008 taxes and 1st quarter 2009 taxes for Radiant, working (possibly) on recording my music (I said possibly), and all manner of other things.

What's Next

And in 2 weeks I head out to Texas again to get ready to dance with trEd at a conference in Louisiana, and immediately afterward Radiant leaves for a 2 1/2 week mission tour to the East Coast.

This is when life gets nice and busy! Here we go!!! :)

<img width='1' height='1' bold;">On the Tiller case:
Friday the jury found George Tiller "not guilty" on all 19 criminal charges. Appears as though we lost a battle in the natural; God, open our eyes to see what was accomplished in the spirit. We can still stand in prayer, believing that our prayers were and are effective in ending Tiller's practice. In light of the outcome of the trial, the Kansas Board of Healing Arts just filed a complaint against Tiller's medical license on 11 counts, closely resembling the ones that were just dismissed. They too have authority to revoke his medical license. So we can keep praying!

<span Schedule:

Our ministry schedule began yesterday morning at the Epicenter in Sugarland, TX. Besides the fact that I slept in and got there 30 min before 'go' time, and therefore didn't get to use my uber-cool new keyboard setup, it was a great service. The testimonies that we heard spoke of profound repentance and new hope and vision. The altar time at the end was about the Lord being our Rock and our Salvation. It was sweet.

That morning was followed by an afternoon bbqing in the blazing Texas heat in Nik and Adrian's new backyard, and then we headed to Cut-n-Shoot to do a concert (concert = evangelistic worship and ministry) with our friends and family at The Father's House. We love those guys. It was awesome.

Back to Wichita

I'll be heading back to Wichita in the morning to stand at the courthouse again.
Tiller's main defense is scheduled for tomorrow,

so we'll be standing on the wall in intercession outside the courthouse from 9am-3pm.

Please pray for strength and stamina for our team,

and above all, that righteous judgments would be passed

and the stronghold of abortion would be broken in the heartland of our nation.

m

It was a good day. As we stood and prayed we began to receive good reports from inside the courtroom. Tiller was beginning to stumble over his words and contradict himself a little bit, and the jury was taking notice of the inconsistencies.

At this point the lawpeople inside the courtroom are saying the case could still go either way. But we are believing that God was weighed this man in the balance and he has been found wanting, and that his kingdom is being divided and taken from him, just as in Daniel 5:25 with the writing on the wall. And that his house and the house of abortion are being broken into bits, as in Amos 6:11 (or 12?).

Please over the next few days continue to pray for the jurors in this case. Pray that their hearts would be turned toward righteousness and that they would judge in favor of life and truth. Pray for mercy for the man Tiller, that his heart would be changed and he would see the value of a human life and repent and not come under judgment for the shedding of so much innocent blood. Pray for the prosecuting attorney, Disney, that he would have divine wisdom.

Love you guys!

Next blog: back to Texas for ministry with Radiant. Leaving this Friday!

Prayer for the Tiller trial

Well, today was an intense day. We went with our JHOP (also Bound4Life) friends to Wichita, KS (about a 3 hour drive). There we stood "on the wall" of intercession, with LIFE tape on our mouths, and prayed from 8am-5pm for God to bring forth justice in the case of a man named George Tiller. Tiller is responsible for tens of thousands of abortions, many of them late-term and partial birth abortions. He's one of the most well-known abortionists in our nation. He has been charged with performing 19 abortions without proper signatures. Minor technicalities, say we who know the real crime is the murder of so many innocent lives. But the fact is that if he is convicted on these 19 counts, he could lose his medical license and receive anywhere from 19 years to life in prison. His clinic would be shut down, and lives would be saved.

His defenders are claiming he is innocent, and are now pleading with the judge and jury about how compassionate a man Tiller is, and how the medical field needs such a good and benevolent doctor. And truthfully, people who interact with him describe him as kind and compassionate.

What we are praying against is not the man, George Tiller, but the spirit of death that is working through him. God, give this man a revelation of the value of a human life. We have a window here to see his practice ended and many lives saved.

The case will be in court this week, ending as soon as Monday, but possibly as late as Friday. Please pray with us that the judge and jury in that court would be bound to issue the judgments that God is issuing from His throne. Pray that God would release faithful witnesses in the courtroom, who cannot speak lies but will expose every dark and truthful thing. Pray for mercy for this man, and for America. And that righteousness would be the victor in this battle.

I encourage you to research George Tiller for more information on his trial. Stay informed so you know how to pray. :)

Worship with the Word

Richy and I got to lead our first two-hour set in the JPR (Justice Prayer Room - the smaller, untelevised IHOP prayer room) on Thursday, with a team of friends we have found here in Kansas City. (Some of them will be permanently on our JPR team, some were just subbing)

Worship with the Word sets are times devoted to singing the Scriptures. It combines music and worship with meditating on God's truths. What you do is take a portion of Scripture (we did Psalm 27) and break it down into sections (2-3 verses). For each section, a singer will sing the section through, verbatim, to introduce it. Then the singers and the prayer leader will begin to take it phrase by phrase, meditating on each word and building on each idea by repeating it, rephrasing it, and referencing other Scriptures that pertain to the same idea.

It really is a beautiful way of meditating on the Word and renewing your mind. And the feedback we were getting afterward from people on the team and in the room was that the anointing and the flow were remarkable. People love the presence of God. We are trying to do what Radiant normally does (creating an atmosphere of the presence of God), even as we fit ourselves into IHOP's structure. And we're excited to be able to serve the people here and IHOP in this way.

Next Tuesday: our first JPR intercession set. Here we and meeting to discuss where the ministry is going and the things God is emphasizing to us about the coming season.

The conference we dance at in Houston turned

out to be explosive and sweet. Just as we had

felt in prayer that the Lord was saying, the

conference began with strength and aggression,

as people came in ready to be free from the

weights they had been carrying. trEd was able to present our piece "Payback" at the very

beginning of the first night. The piece is all

about the Lord being the One who takes vengeance on our enemies and brings them down under our feet. It is a powerful and aggressive piece.

trEd and another dance company (HIS Company) traded off dancing spontaneously during the worship set, which Julie Meyer (out of IHOP Kansas City) was leading. Between worship and the message, we also presented a piece to "Holy" by Matt Gillman, a very "throne room" type of song, exalting the holiness of God.

Over the course of the conference, there were many blessed times of joy, freedom, victory, intercessory prayer and worship. The last night there was such an anointing of joy, that I danced so hard I was almost sick. What else can you do but dance with all your might, when God is so good and the victory of the cross so complete?

We had prayed and felt like the Lord wanted to kiss the people with intimacy the last night. And, oh man, was it beautiful. Pray for Leah, our "captain." She and her husband Nate had been scheduled to do a very intimate piece that night about Christ and His Bride; it's a piece that brings people into a love encounter with the Lover of their soul and rarely leaves a dry eye in the place. But at the end of worship, Julie was singing spontaneously, and the Lord gave one of our other dancers a spontaneous dance that released exactly that kiss of intimacy that we had felt would come. It was a good thing, too, because as we found out later, the injury Leah had sustained to her foot (and was going to dance on anyway) was actually a very nasty fracture. Please keep her in your prayers for a complete and speedy healing.

So all in all, the conference was a beautiful success. God revealed His to His people His victory, His love, His joy, His might in battle, and His overwhelmingly sweet love and desire He has for us. We had many testimonies of people who said they were "energized" to live as overcomers instead of victims; there were many who wept at the revelation of Jesus as One passionately in love with them; I was even able to pray for a girl for deliverance from various things, and healing for an injury in her back. She said she felt heat in her back, but I haven't heard whether the healing was complete. But I believe God was doing something there.

Thanks to all of you who give to help me be a part of a ministry which encourages the Church to reach her full potential, living the life Christ died to give us.

More on this season

Hello all!

Well, I could not feel more like I am in the right place at the right time. Doors are opening for Radiant, and I am personally gaining so much from this intensive season of seeking God through prayer, fasting and studying the Word of God.

Not only am I worshiping and receiving strength and peace for the present; I feel like I am just beginning to gain understanding of the Word and the times we are living in that will fuel my life, love and ministry in the coming seasons and years. I know that what God has called me to requires me to know Him intimately, to consistently drink from His rivers, and to be rooted and grounded in the Word of God. That is what I am learning here. And I am so grateful for it.

Day to Day . . .

As for my days, right now they consist of seeking the Lord in the house of prayer in the mornings, and then spending 2-4 hours in Radiant's office, tending to finances, records and various administrative projects. I am also able to spend time working on writing songs, and recording them. (Consider this an informal secret announcement that there may be a Hannah EP coming this year with some original songs... Sssh, don't tell!)

God likes Youths!

It looks like Radiant is going to have the opportunity to be involved with the IHOP youth group, leading worship occasionally. It is still in the works, but I am incredibly excited about the possibility. I have attended two youth services since I've been here (I plan on attending every week to support the leadership and help serve and pray for the kids) and both times felt like it was exactly where I wanted to be. There's something about youth - I think God likes 'em. :-)

I can't help but be able to envision revival among the young people and in the high schools: kids lit up with the brightness of God, invading their schools with conquering joy and love . . . praying for the sick and seeing them healed . . . lost kids coming into the youth group and experiencing the presence of God. If we get the opportunity to contend for that here in Kansas City, I am so all over it. :) Kansas City is a "hub" of sorts; a place where movements and ministries are birthed and then sent to the nations. If we can get a youth revival here . . . it would just be great.

Well, that's it for now. If you guys want to leave me comments, it will help me feel like I'm actually talking to someone on here. :-)

Blessings!

<br
